Can’t you just see the headlines now? “From Tech Hoarder to Shiny & New Tech Hoarder - How RadioShack made buying The New iPad SO PAY’INLESS!” (#zaneterms)
Why I LOVE Trade & Save:
1. It’s a like a magical COUPON that helps me gets rid of what I don’t want & get what I do want
2. Instead of having to wait/save up money to buy the more expensive items on my wish-list, I can BUY THEM NOW. (Woot! Helloooo to the super purdy white Nikon J1)
3. I really enjoy walking around my house opening drawers & closets exclaiming:
“KER-CHING!”
SERIOUSLY, Y’all. Trade & Save is so convenient - and so tangibly rewarding in many ways. You look up the item to detemine it’s value, accept and RadioShack sends you a pre-paid shipping label for you to send the items you are trading in, followed by a gift card. There is also the mobile app you saw us using in both the Google & Apple store. JUST DO IT.
AND…You gotta share your old tech with me before you trade it in! Leave me a comment below or tweet me a pic!

Yes…The Dallas Cowboys have already lost Game 1, but let’s remember they hit a milestone last season and just hope for the best this season…Like a mileboulder instead.
When The Cowboys won their first playoff game last season - it was their FIRST post-season win/play-off victory since Dec. 28, 1996 and ended a 4,760-day drought - easily the longest in the club’s proud history. Cameras were rolling when Jerry Jones exclaimed, “demons are GONE!” Guess we forgot to revoke their all-access pass the next week…
I just love going to The New Cowboys Stadium aka Jerry’s World. It’s amazing. I love going there and hanging w/ the FANS as the public spaces are expansive and that place is 100% designed to celebrate CELEBRATION with 100,000 of your closest friends and not even have to stand next to them or spend the entire 3rd Quarter in line for the bathroom.
I’m going to be doing more ZaneologyTV this season merging Zane’s World (Talking to People) and Jerry’s World this season. Who would like to Join me? I could use more camera operators…and “Drink Consumption Partners.”
Thx to all the awesome people who indulged me at this Awesome Game by being fabulous on camera — and for the High Fives. I’m coming back for YOU…and more.
*Spc. Thx to Joseph Morin ( @josephmorin ) and Mike Reedy ( @mikereedy ) for inviting me.
My favorite Quote? As I am watching all the boys walk around with giant pink and yellow margaritas and I tell one of them: ”That drink makes you kinda prance a little….” *Pink is empoweing to men. Especially in drinks — AND…at NFL Football Games. Take note.

Yes…It’s Labor Day Weekend. I’m going to take advantage of some [non-laboring] down-time and load some random phot galleries for your viewing enjoyment. Heck..you might even see Blogworld 2009 and SXSW 2010…Maybe a killer video of YOU doing something really fun / funny.
But..first - have you ever seen what is known as the first “truly portable cellular phone” ?? I had one one of course - circa 1989 The Motorola MicroTAC 9800X - and it just made itself known during a recent Beau & Zane Garage Adventure…along with some of my oddball sunglasses that Beau decided to pose adorably in.
You know what I love? That we can capture these wonderful unexpectedly awesome moments with our current phones that are 1/10 the size of the first non-bag sized portable cell phones. Wait until you see the picture of Beau holding the MicroTAC - it’s nearly as big as his head!
Enjoy…and Enjoy your weekend. Stay Tuned for more Random & Unexpected Labor Day Weekend Galleries!

THIS. IS. SO. 100%. GET. DOWN. FABULOUS.
**I hope you can get through this mix without wanting to marry it AND wanting to fight people who don’t love it as much as you. ~ zane
Thank you to my IRL Super Duper BFF @djmichaeltodd for creating and sharing this little BIG piece of funk-heaven. I suggest you play AND download this exclusive paperbuddha mix “Bassed and Confused” to your music libraries IM - [as in] “Imma gonna do this now now now now otherwise the whole world will know I don’t like, recognize and/or understand deliciously funky life-changing get up out of your seat booty shakin’ awesomeness” - MEDIATELY.
Zane Aveton Says:
August 30th, 2010 at 1:54 am…at about 33:11 (at the 2nd Beastie Boys sample…) I started to get a little fever…and by 34.33, I died and went to funkalicious heaven. Thank you Michael Todd…as it just kept escalating from there and 37.28 + reminded why you are truly my BFF.
Love you/ Mean it.
@zaneology
DO THIS: Join the “This Is How I Like It FUNKY Club” by jotting down the time stamps of your most favorite funky moments in this mix as they happen and drop them in the blog comments below so I know exactly when you smiled real big/got up out of your chair/danced to the ___________ e.g. coffee maker, copier, the water cooler/RT’d it/Shared it on Facebook. My “I went to my happy-place times” are listed in my comments above. FYI, my funk-o-meter never leveled back off once it hit 37.28.
Do we have the same funk-vibe hot buttons? Listen and See, then lets compare notes. You might catch something I missed while dancing at the coffee maker… **Feel free to share this mix with all your friends, but hurry…I’m not sure how long they will keep the download option available.
The original paperbuddha post by Michael Todd is below, including the track-list and a link to uber groovy Mike Hulme Count Drak Remix on Beatport.

It has been quite some time since I have posted one of my mixes, so here ya go!! This is a mix I did in preparation for a party in my old Ft Worth stomping grounds. The party was called “Dazed and Confused” and since I’m a big fan of the fat, funky and dirty basslines, I thought this would get your ears bumping! Lots of good booty shakin’ madness on this one and, as always, feel free to hook up your friends on it. This is a paperbuddha exclusive, so don’t sleep on it. And the new Mike Hulme on this mix is just murdering the dancefloors at the moment! Go get it asap here!! Enjoy!!

I hope this video captured how much everyone there was “LOVIN’ IT” thanks to McDonald’s, Dwight Howard and the Moroch Team.
Thank you also to Amanda, Adam & Cesar for being my guests!

Since we’re all getting used to one another, it would probably help to do a bit of exposition before we get too far along. Before it becomes that thing where we know each other, but one of us doesn’t quite remember the other’s name, and it’s too late for proper introductions. Awkward. Much of FrontRow speaks for itself, but there is one wrinkle that probably needs some explaining.
Twitter will be integral to how we cover music here at FrontRow. Which is to say: you, the reader, the concertgoer, will be integral to how we cover it. At least in one respect: live music.
Unlike a theater production or a gallery show, concerts are generally a one-time-only proposition. So if you weren’t there, it doesn’t help much to read about what you weren’t at, and won’t be able to go to anytime soon. Especially not from someone who probably didn’t pay to get in anyway. That’s more like rubbing it in, right?
But we don’t want to ignore it. On occasion, depending on the band, yes, we will weigh in, because we won’t be able to help it. For the most part, though, it’s up to you, the fans, to tell everyone if they missed out — or if they dodged a bullet.
The way it will work is simple: follow us at twitter.com/D_FrontRow. When you’re out and about, tell us (@D_FrontRow) what you’re seeing/hearing and what you think. Or wait until after, if you don’t want to take your attention away from the band. The next morning, we’ll compile the most interesting tweets into a hive mind concert review.
I’m Zac, by the way.
Dallas just got a little bit cooler. Thank you @D_Front Row - and Hello ZAC :)
Love You, Mean It Ya’ll!
